Rich Wistocki is a child crime expert and detective from Illinois who has dedicated his career to helping children by tirelessly pursuing, apprehending and prosecuting child predators, Rich is also leading the charge to Stop School Shootings. Rich crisscrosses the Country educating law enforcement using cutting-edge investigative techniques, as well as going to
schools teaching students and parents responsible digital activity. Rich also trains Student Resource Officers (SROs), and school administrators on how they can effectively Stop School Shootings (75%).
The Rev. first met Det. Rich informally on LinkedIn through her law enforcement connections as a volunteer Chaplain for the Glendale Hts. (IL) Police Dept. She finally got to meet him in person last August 1st...well, at least virtually, He was New Day's guest educating our audience about sextortion on my ROKU TV special "Child Sex Trafficking & Sextortion (replays available on PBNN affiliated stations through Aug. 15th, 2023). As an Ordained Minister, Counselor, Chaplain, Grandmother, & Mom, the Rev. is particularly interested in keeping God's precious young creations safe from online predators and school shooters.
For Det. Rich, a particular focus on fighting online Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), became a passion. Over the course of 22 years working in Internet Crimes, he tracked down and arrested more than 300 cyber-predators. Rich was also responsible for several laws being passed in the state of IL protecting our children from sexting and sextortion by cyber-criminals.
For school districts, student and staff’s internet access as well as online safety is of the highest importance. The tragic results of deadly errors made in Uvalde, TX, rightly embarrassed and shamed County, local, and State law enforcement agency heads who placed a low priority on training their Officers how to respond to school shooter incidents. Thank God (truly!) that they weren't allowed to play politics and bury their blunders. To this Rev. who's a trained WMD Incident Commander through the DHS, the number of tactical errors committed was shocking. Even more shocking was a teacher propping open an exterior door (the one the murderer walked through). The school was said to have a good security system. However, the most expensive system in the world is worthless when perimeter security is compromised.
